    Personal Statement

     

    I am seeking a career in a customer service or administration role, I am a confident, highly motivated, experienced individual with effective communication skills. I have a proactive approach with the ability to use my own initiative working independently and to work well as part of a team, building positive working relationships within a diverse office environment. I am enthusiastic, reliable, and punctual. I strive to achieve 100% in any task I undertake. I am experienced in using Microsoft packages such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook Express

    Work experience

     

    The Wrekin Housing Trust – February- March 2015 – Administration work placement

     

    Within this placement I worked in two departments, Continues Improvement and Organisational Development/ HR. I assisted with creating an events leaflet using publisher, which I later developed in to a poster using word to promote the event.  I also designed a logo for use at the event evidencing my ability to work on project as a team but also using my own initiative and creativity and meeting deadlines. I shadowed my colleagues in there day to day role supported them in any adhoc tasks required working as part of the team.  I researched new legislation on flexible working and parental pay and produced guidance and fact sheets for employees and managers. I supported the team to type letters collate sickness records, implementing a new system for the occupational health service and filing confidential documents.

    My duties included inputting confidential data into Excel spreadsheets, processing new client’s details into the internal database, paying attention to detail and ensuring the detail entered was accurate, maintained and updated a timely manner.  Making information packs for new clients that provided then with information about charity and the service they provided, binding information, processing payments for new clients and labelling envelopes for mailing.
